Christian Menses began his career in 1997 as guitarist and Keyboardist for the Pennsylvania based band
The Crimsons, ( a band which also featured Martin Royle of The Washington Social Club and Jimmy Lee
of Dream Of Fire. After recording the bands debut Cd "Vellocette" and two years of constant live shows
Christian left the band to persue his own musical interests. In the years that followed most of his time was
spent in the studio "The Still Lab" perfecting his skills recording, mixing, and mastering.
2007 marked a public return for Christian with the debut of his own record label "Toxic Shock LLC / Toxic
Shock Records", a label which was designed to offer artists an environment with creative freedomeand
the opportunity to retain all rights and ownership of their music. Toxic Shock LLC is now home to Team
Cybergeist, Psychotica, Staci Grim, Dee Madden, and more.
Studio Credits include recording and producing albums for Psychotica, Dream of Fire, and Beasts of
Traal. Christian has also provided remixes for Lab Report, Mediawhore, Ritalin, 16 Volt, Team
Cybergeist, Psychotica and more.
In 2009 Christian returned to making his own music with the release of "Definition Of Forever" under the
name Balloons. The record was co-written / produced in collaboration with Martin Royle. Christian also
began work on his first solo album which is slated for release in 2011.
Recently Christian made his return to the stage with a one off gig on January 23rd 2010 in New Port
Richey, Florida playing guitar for Team Cybergeist. He also joined Psychotica on bass for two shows
during their 2010 summer tour.
Currently Christian is working in the studio with Psychotica on their new full length album as well as his
own. Team Cybergeist's recent album "How To Destroy Something Beautiful" also features Christian
providing spoken word on the track "Razorblade December".
